Sheridan French, D.C.
Dr. French graduated as the valedictorian of his class at New York Chiropractic College, earning advanced certificates in Whole Food Nutrition, Sports Science and Human Performance, and Orthotics. He was awarded multiple honors for leadership and academic success throughout the program. He trained at the school’s outpatient clinic and completed a rotation treating athletes at his Alma Mater, Hobart and William Smith Colleges. Before succeeding Dr. Zabel at HFC, he practiced out of an interdisciplinary physical therapy office in Cambridge and the Seaport.
His technique is based on restoring proper movement to the joints of the body and “resetting” the nervous system. This allows the body to receive appropriate sensory input, enabling it to properly respond, heal and perform. He takes an individualized and evidence-based, whole-body approach to each patient, which is typically composed of adjusting the spine and working to restore the surrounding soft tissues to a normal resting tone. He has specific interests in complementing chiropractic care with applied clinical nutrition, as well as the benefits of chiropractic care during pregnancy. His overall goal is to enable anybody with the will to live an active lifestyle, to do so without pain and hopes to be an educational resource in all things regarding health.
Outside of work, Sheridan cherishes spending time in nature, engaging in activities such as hiking, biking, skiing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and volleyball. He is very much a dog person, and enjoys collaborating on landscape and construction projects with friends and family.
